TAKE HOME

Special jackets handmade from vintage indigo cloths. The indigo cloths are handwoven in Burkina Faso and Mali - woven in thin strips and then sewn together before being tied and dyed in different patterns using Indigo leaves.

These textiles have been previously worn in the households by women around their waist or to carry their babies on their backs. Therefore all pieces have some signs of wear such as discoloration and little mendings.

These jackets were handmade by Rex in Ghana.

One-Size Fits Most.
