Baoule cloth is a traditional textile from the Ivory Coast in West Africa.
They are hand loomed strip cloth textile, dyed, and woven with an Ikat technique.
Traditionally used in the household, to carry babies on the back or most commonly around the waist like a skirt.
May be used as blanket throw, wall hanging or anything you wish!
These cloths are vintage and have some small holes and mendings which is characteristic.
